Rod Young, Chairman, DC Strategy, Australia along with panel members Nishith Desai, Founder, Nishith Desai Associates and M. S. Ananth, Senior Member, Nishith Desai Associates talk about how A listed companies and businesses have the desire of going public to raise capital, but do not have a clear business plan in mind on how to utilise the capital further. They also talk about the possibilities why companies raise capital that can be to clear debt through banks or individuals. According to them, there needs to be a core of profitability before companies think of going public.
